Sarah is self taught in Digital Art , she began drawing at a very young age drawing cartoon characters the old fashioned way with pencil and paper , the love for Art & Design she went on to gain her GCSE In Art and all her other subjects , Studyed Hairdressing where she regularly did an Arts class incorporated in her course, she has won first prize in most imaginative wig design in her first year of college , she was chosen to take part as stylist for the Final years fashion show , after qualifying in City and Guilds Hairdressing she went into a salon to become a first year stylist but sadly became seriously ill due to the hair dye allergy and had to end her hairdressing career so a new career began Visual Merchandising incorporating her Artistic flair into the shop windows of Doncaster Town center , Littlewoods Catalogue Store, Principles and then onto Argos , In Principles she also measured men for suits & shirts & neck sizing , At Argos she was shop floor security as well as customer services Assistant and also helped out in the Jewellery department , still in love with hairdressing she went onto do a beauty course and took City and Guilds in Cosmetic Makeup and Manicure to then setting up part time as a wedding hair and makeup artist she also did body art and stage makeup while still working for Argos, she was asked to take part and face paint for Argos when it had its refurbishment and did body tatoos and face pointing for the grand opening in Frenchgate , in 2002 she left Retail to bring up her family and had a 14 year career gap , in 2014 she found herself unemployed and so with the help of the job centre and a company called Pinicle People she went through the New Enterprise Allowance scheme to get off the dole into self employment and began a career in Designing Homeware and Giftwear , and working on commission work for bespoke orders ,and now sees her work travelling the world wide , Sarah also is a creator with Thortful Cards and has three Christmas card collections on their website , she also affiliates with SCS Sofas , Vegan Outfitters , 123 Flowers and Beer Hawk the home of the PerfectDraft Machine & Beer Kegs.
